Local Highlight: Chiebijin Sake from Kitsuki, Oita
Hotel Solage also offers a limited selection of premium local sake from Nakano Shuzo, a historic brewery in Kitsuki, Oita, founded in 1874. Among its lineup is Chiebijin Junmai Daiginjo, a sake that has received the Mondial Selection Grand Gold Award for three consecutive years.
At the top of this range is Shikou, the brewery’s flagship label. Brewed during the coldest months using traditional koji-tray methods and carefully managed fermentation, it reflects over 150 years of craftsmanship. Pure spring water drawn from 200 meters underground and highly polished rice contribute to its clean aroma, gentle sweetness, and refined finish.
This sake is available in limited quantities, and we encourage guests to try it during their stay.
