  • How long does it take from the nearest station?

    It takes the following time from the nearest ports of entry:
    ◆Nearest station: Hiji Station (7 minutes by car or taxi)
    ◆Nearest Interchange: Hiji Interchange (15 minutes by car)
    ◆Nearest Airport: Oita Airport (30 minutes by car or taxi)
    ◆Nearest Port: Beppu Port (30 minutes by car or taxi)

  • Do you have a parking lot?

    We have the following parking lots.

  • Is there a free ice machine?

    There are ice machines (free of charge) located in front of the elevators on the 3rd and 4th floors of the South Wing, and in the coin laundry area on the 1st floor of the East Wing.

    The following amenities are available.

  • Are there baths in the guest rooms?

    Both East Wing and South Wing Western-style and Japanese-Western style rooms have bath units in the rooms, but Japanese-style rooms do not have baths.
    Please use the large public bath.

  • What time is check-in and check-out?

    Check-in time is from 3:00 p.m.
    Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.

  • Are refrigerators provided?

    All rooms have an empty refrigerator, so you can bring your own alcohol, juice, etc.

  • How can I send and receive faxes?

    Receiving faxes is free of charge. Sending a fax is 50 yen per sheet. When you send a fax to our hotel, please write your room number and the name of the person staying at the hotel.

  • How do I pay for an early morning departure?

    Our front desk staff is on duty 24 hours a day, so we can accept your request at any time.

  • Where is the dining area?

    Dinner and breakfast are prepared at Restaurant Solista on the first basement floor, but the venue may change according to circumstances.

  • Up to what age can children take a mixed bath?

    According to Oita Prefecture regulations, children up to 6 years of age are allowed.
    Men and women over 7 years old are not allowed to take a mixed bath.

    Hair dryer, cotton swab, and hand shampoo are available in both men's and women's baths.

    Men's baths → Hair tonic, hair care kit, after-lotion, etc. are available.

  • What amenities are available in the public baths?

    Shampoo, conditioner, and body shampoo are always available.

  • What are the operation hours of Kokoro-yu (large bathroom)?

    Hotel guests can use it until 12:00 a.m.
    In the morning, it is available from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (Summer hours are also available)

    And for walk-in guests:
    Weekdays 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. (reception until 9:00 p.m.)
    Sundays and holidays 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (until 8:00 p.m.)

    Spa & Resort Hotel Solage Oita-Hiji has three different types of restaurants.

  • What are your lunch and dinner hours?

    Please make a reservation as our restaurants are by reservation only.

    Lunch is served from 11:00 to 14:00 (last order at 13:30)
    Dinner is served in 1 or 2 seating, depending on the day.
     For 1 seating, 18:00 to 19:30 (last order at 19:30)

     For 2 seating, 1st seating at 17:30 and 2nd seating at 19:30 (last order at 21:00)

    ※Please come early as it gets very crowded on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Please tell me about the swimming pool!

    【Admission Policy】
    Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (No one is allowed to enter the pool alone.)
    Tattoos are not allowed in the pool. No one is allowed to enter the venue without removing stickers or paint.
    Please notify the hotel front desk or pool reception directly if you are entering with a wheelchair or baby carriage.

    【Food & Beverages】
    Beverages are allowed to be brought in for hydration purposes, to prevent heat stroke in the summer.
    Food is NOT allowed.

    【Use of Fixtures and Fittings in the Hotel】
    Small sunshade tents are available for use.
    Automatic inflators for floatation rings, etc. are always available for use.
    There are no baby cribs in the lockers and changing rooms, so please use strollers.
    Coin lockers are available. Please note that coins are not returnable before using.

    【Swimming】
    Swimming cycle: 50 min of swimming → 10 min break. Lunch break is 20 minutes.
    Snorkeling goggles and fins are not allowed.
    No large boats are allowed.
    No swimming after applying sun-tanning oil, etc.
    No sitting is allowed on the water slides. No necklaces, pierced earrings, or protruding rings may be worn on the water slides. (Please remove them at the entrance.)

    * Guests staying at the hotel on the day of the event will check in at the hotel front desk first, and then leave their luggage at the cloakroom. Swimming pool opens at 10:00 a.m.

  • What sports facilities do you have?

    Outdoor leisure pool (summer only), tennis courts (omni-court), sports field, golf driving range (20 bays), gym (2 volleyball courts, 3 badminton courts, 1 futsal court), racquetball courts (1 court), and table tennis corner.

  • What is the Wi-Fi environment?

    All rooms in the entire building are equipped with Wi-Fi.
    There is also a Wi-Fi corner (PC available) in the lobby of the South Wing.

  • Please tell me about the number of rooms and the building.

    The number of rooms is 63 (43 Japanese-style rooms, 17 Western-style rooms, 2 Japanese-Western style rooms, and 1 other room)
    The buildings are as follows:

    South Wing (4-story building with elevator)
    East Wing (2-story building, no elevator *stairs and slope available)
    No smoking in the building (smoking corner is available)

  • Please tell me about the facilities.

    We have a bridal consultation counter, game corner, karaoke room, banquet hall, store, body massage, free lounge, coin laundry, lounge, conference room, wedding hall (Shinto ceremony), cloakroom, and shared space wireless LAN (free).
